DART Orange Line Bridges into Irving

Work on the Orange Line continues to progress as crews begin setting the infrastructure for the bridge that will carry the train into Irving.

Construction on the Convention Center Station began with grading operations last month. Grading operations for the Las Colinas Urban Center Station—located in the median of Lake Carolyn Parkway, south of O’Connor Boulevard—are set to begin in December. See Page 3 for a map of all Orange Line station locations.
 
Stations set to open December 2011:

• University of Dallas Station
• Las Colinas Urban Center Station
• Irving Convention Center Station

 
Stations set to open December 2012:

• Las Colinas Carpenter Ranch Station
• North Lake College Station
• Belt Line Station

 
Work on the Loop 12 and South Las Colinas stations have been deferred until a later date. Upon completion, the Orange Line will travel from downtown Dallas through Irving to Terminal A at DFW International Airport.
