Economic development continues to be a top priority in Irving as the business center of North Texas. The City in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce has recruited over 55 businesses this year signing leases for more than one million square feet and bringing 2,500 jobs to our city. The partnership has also retained more than 25 local businesses and 3,000 positions. Irving’s renewed focus on retail growth has already resulted in 30 new shopping and dining venues. | ||
