About Towne is a biweekly half-hour arts series that highlights Irving’s excellent local artists and craftsmen, entertainment venues and arts organizations. It also serves the viewing audience by publicizing upcoming concerts, performances, festivals and events.

We have highlights from this year’s “Celebrating Irving” events. We’ll meet community volunteers working to preserve an historic Irving landmark: the Shelton Cemetery. We’ll meet former Irving firefighter Phillip Dunn in his new hat:  novelist. Plus, we’ll fill you in on all the details for this year’s Independence Day celebration.

We have highlights from Juneteenth 2017. We’ll meet young Anime artist Milze Miese. And we’ll celebrate 25 years of beautiful music with ISO’s Conductor, Maestro Hector Guzman. Plus, we’ll talk with Irving author Keith Lepac about his epic fantasy-genre series
